Signing Your Return From Your Phone
You can review and e-sign your return right from your phone. Open the link from the signature-request email in a real browser app (Chrome or Safari), not your email app’s built-in viewer, then follow the same flow you would on a computer: verify your identity, review the return, and e-sign.
A few things work a little differently on mobile:
- You can’t download the return during the review step — that becomes available after you finish signing
- Paper-filing isn’t available on mobile
- Paying an invoice isn’t available on mobile
- Manual (wet) signatures aren’t available on mobile
If your return requires payment before signing or requires a manual signature, you’ll be prompted to switch to a computer or tablet to finish.
